Co. Donegal has enthusiastically embraced the internet. There are many reasons for this; increased broadband access, IT education and training, public awareness and a plethora of web enthusiasts, have all ensured that this remote extremity of Europe is well served with an impressive array of internet sites. Some are overtly commercial (ad machines) but many are genuinely useful. This page will provide links to sites operating from, or related to the County that are not covered under other categories. It is a work in progress and a "free space" to list your favourate links.

Although our focus is primarily on heritage matters, we will happily give coverage to any legitimate sites promoting the County.

* http://www.donegaltown.ie/ Newsy and content rich site, mainly focussed on Donegal Town but with lots of regional information too. Run by some serious innovators and is an excellent example of how a "really useful" website can operate.
